TBLC - Congratulations 2017 Trainer-Consultant Graduates
Posted on March 27, 2017 by TeamUSA
We are pleased to announce Dr. Julie Estis, our TeamUSA Quality Enhancement Plan Director, has recently completed all requirements to earn the title of Team-Based Learning Collaborative Certified Trainer-Consultant. The TBLC Trainer-Consultant program is "designed for those who want to become certified by the TBLC as an expert educator and consultant for faculty who are implementing Team-Based Learning in their classrooms." Certification as a Trainer-Consultant requires fulfillment of six competencies related to implementing and facilitating TBL courses and faculty development sessions, as well as mentoring faculty in the use of TBL. The intensive Certification process includes participating in a six-hour workshop, conducting TBL workshops for faculty, mentoring faculty, and developing a trainer-consultant portfolio with the support of an experienced mentor over the course of one year. Congratulations to Dr. Estis!
